Logan is 12 years old and he has a rare disease called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) this is a muscle wasting disease and will one day take him from us.
we just don't know when that time will be!

He can walk for now however he's using his electric wheel chair more as his condition is deteriorating quickly.

Logan struggles to walk up and down stairs as he currently lives with his brothers and sister in a 3 story house, he can't play with them like he used to, if he needs the toilet one of his parents have to stand behind him as he's walking upstairs as he can fall and seriously hurt himself. This also includes bath times etc.

The equipment that Logan has is an electric wheel chair and manual one as well as a standing frame but unfortunately there is little room available in the house and more equipment and support is needed for his health, independence and stability for the time he has left.

However Burnley (UK) council are refusing to start Logan's bottom floor bedroom adaptation that he desperately needs. As they only have 30k ! And the adaptation is costing 36k.

We need £6,400 for the council to start building Logan's room and equipment including. Bed, sink and bath etc an extra £2,000 for other furniture needed.

If we cannot gather the fundings it will be a huge loss and sadness that he will have to be taken into care for he's sufficient needs to be met. We are trying in all of our power for this not to happen as we want him with family for however long he has left on this earth.

All money raised will be going to Logan for his dream room.

UPDATE ON LOGAN JUNE 2016

He had a few hospital appointments last month that had pretty much the worst news we could have had.

Logan's upper body is now effected by DMD. His heart is now affected by the heartbreaking disease and he is on these meds as follows...

Deflazacort, Lisporel, Movicol, Vitamin D 20,000 units and also steroids at the moment.

Logan is still himself the news hasn't changed his behaviour or anything. One brave boy ! XXXX

Graduation show, Blackburn, 13/05/15-28/05/15- the final exhibition from the hard work and efforts of my fellow students and myself. During the degree show I staged three live events. Two of these were repeat performances utilizing a blacked out room, UV paint and a snare drum. The paint was dribbled onto a snare drum under the glow of black lights whilst a drummer performed a five-minute drum solo. The result of this created droplets of UV paint jumping and splashing around as the drummer performed.

My second event was an interactive event in which the audience where invited to use water pistols filled with paint to create a live human stencil of my partner and I.
